Chair:
Catherine Mathieson
Catherine is currently the manager of Enabling Technology for Children, the wheelchair and special seating service for children in SE Scotland.  Catherine is a physiotherapist who has worked primarily in paediatrics for the past 20 years. She has been involved in the modernisation of wheelchair services in Scotland from the Petitioning of the Scottish Parliament in January 2005 through the Review process to the current Implimentation Phase.

Secretary: 
Ann Allan
Ann was co-opted onto the committee as minute secretary and event organister in early 2008. Ann's eldest son Scott was born in 1989 with cerebral palsy and due to his complex needs Ann is his full time carer. Before this Ann worked in office administration.

Treasurer and Membership Secretary: 
Dr. Pamela Harper
Pam has a long interest in rehabilitation and all aspects of disability.  Formerly a Geriatrician, Pam now works as a Disability Analyst outwith the NHS. Pam has been a member of SSWG for many years and was Treasurer for some years. She has recently become the Treasurer and Membership Secretary of SPMN.

Brian is a co-opted member on the SPMN committee, representing the British Healthcare Trades Association (BHTA).

Jennifer Hooper-Roe
Jenny is a physiotherapist currently working in Dumfries and Galloway for their Learning Disability Services. With a background in orthopaedics, head injury and mental health, she moved to Scotland five years ago. Since that time she has been involved in the development and promotion of postural care within her client group.  She is also on the committee of the northern branch of the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists for People with Learning Difficulties (ACPPLD) and involved in their Postural Care Steering Group.

Anke Baillie
Anke qualified as a physiotherapist over 25 years ago and has mainly worked in Paediatrics with children with profound and complex needs. She is currently part of the RHSC Physiotherapy team in Edinburgh but she has her base in Oaklands Special School. Anke is very active in promoting and implementing 24 hour postural care programmes and she is leading a clinical interest group which is looking at developing a Postural Care Pathway for Lothian.  Anke holds regular postural management clinics within the RHSC physiotherapy service where she uses the Goldsmith Indices of Body Symmetry to advise on, monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of a postural care programme.
