Individual members have access to SPMN's Professional Development Fund. The Professional Development Fund can provide financial support towards the following:

• The costs of further professional qualifications
• Travel to, and attendance at a conference at which the applicant will participate
• A small research project.

Applications (which will only be accepted on the official form) can be made at any time to the Treasurer.   Applications are considered on a case-by-case basis at the next committee meeting.  A successful applicant is expected to subsequently produce a written report for the Newsletter, or to present at a seminar.
