The subgroups within SPMN often undertake projects or research in areas related to postural management. This often results in a report or documentation which may be of benefit to others within the postural management field.

Top-down approach to Postural Management (May 2007)

In 2007 the Best Practice working team finalised a project whose purpose was to define typical interventions required to alleviate postural instability (dynamic or static), depending on the level at which that instability occurs. The associated documents can be found below.

Effectiveness of Postural Management (2001)

In 2001 a team was established to look at what evidence existed for the effectiveness of postural management. No literature survey can ever be all encompassing. However, the evidence group is confident that their work represents a reliable snapshot of the evidence supporting postural management.
