Education Subgroup

The Education subgroup of SSWG was formed in 1996 with the aim of improving and coordinating academic education on the subjects of wheelchairs and seating for therapists and other staff throughout Scotland.  This group met regularly, with an ambitious aim of establishing the structure for an academic course in Wheelchairs and Special Seating, though a lack of financial and other resources prevented serious progress.

SPMN has not established a replacement subgroup for this purpose, though this remains a possible future direction for the Network.
